Now in its second year, the Grow London show will bring contemporary and urban gardening to the forefront this weekend at Hampstead Heath, with over 100 exhibitors offering modern outdoor furniture, rare plants, and garden sculpture, plus plenty of containers and gardening accessories. The fair is organized by Will Ramsay, founder of the Affordable Art Fair, and will include lectures and workshops by experts on everything from small-space and balcony gardens to medicinal plants and their applications.

Visitors can also sit down with members of the Society of Garden Designers for complimentary consultations in a special plant-covered shipping container, and browse the four feature areas created by Petersham Nurseries, garden designer Francesca Murrell, Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants, and the Green Wood Guild. Little ones can develop their green thumbs with hands-on children’s activities scheduled throughout the weekend. A special preview event on Thursday will benefit the National Garden Scheme, an organization that raises money for nursing charities through events at private gardens.
