Since it was first issued 28 years ago, the annual list of the 11 Most Endangered Historic Places from the National Trust for Historic Preservation has played a vital role in drawing attention to hundreds of architectural gems and culturally significant locations in danger of being demolished or otherwise lost. This year’s list includes a diverse array of vulnerable sites, from Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood to the Old U.S. Mint in San Francisco.
