Bjarke Ingels Group has unveiled its design for 2 World Trade Center, the final tower at the WTC site.

“The design of 2 WTC is derived from its urban context at the meeting point between two very different neighborhoods: the Financial District with its modernist skyscrapers and Tribeca with its lofts and roof gardens,” according to a Bjarke Ingels Group statement. From the Financial District, 2 WTC will resemble the tall, slender towers nearby, but from Tribeca, it will look like a series of stepped green terraces.

Amenity floors in the building—which may include basketball courts, a running track, a cafeteria, and screening rooms—will be situated so that they feed out onto the 38,000 square feet of outdoor terraces. The lobby will provide direct access to 11 subway lines and PATH trains.

The building, which will be about 80 stories and 1,340 feet high, will be located at 200 Greenwich Street and serve as the new headquarters for 21st Century Fox and News Corp. Silverstein Properties will lease the upper half of the tower to other commercial office tenants.
