Earlier this week the Architectural League of New York announced the eight winners of its 30th Emerging Voices awards, the nonprofit organization’s yearly accolades bestowed on rising stars in architecture and design. This year’s crop includes 2014 AD Innovator firm ArandaLasch—based in Tucson, Arizona, and New York City—whose boundary-pushing work spans building, industrial, and exhibition design; and MIT Media Lab professor and architect Neri Oxman, whose research employs synthetic biology and cutting-edge digital fabrication techniques. Among the eight-member prize jury were AD100 architect Toshiko Mori, Billie Tsien, and Thomas Phifer—all leaders in the field.

A public lecture series by the eight honorees will be held in New York in March. Bravo to all!
