Welcome back to another week of the spring seasonal simplicity series! Each week we’re sharing a variety of Spring projects to inspire you for the season and this week is my FAVORITE! All week long, we’re sharing our homes decorated for spring and our best tips and ideas for bringing a spring feel into your home.

If you’re coming over from Taryn Whiteaker Designs – welcome! Taryn always has the most beautiful modern design style and I always love her simple take on seasonal decor.

Our Spring Home Tour

Last week I shared our spring and Easter kitchen decor…

…and today I’m moving on to the dining room.

I always look forward to the start of spring, but, I have to say, I think this year takes it to a whole other level! My soul is craving the warmer weather and brighter days SO much more this year, and I can’t wait to be able to socialize outside with friends and family again. So, in celebration of spring and all the hope that it brings, I’m sharing some fun and pretty ways to add some spring and Easter decor to your home!

Even though I used these ideas in our dining room, it doesn’t mean that you can’t incorporate them into other spaces in your home. You can really create a little vignette anywhere to help brighten things up! Get creative and use these ideas to add some spring and Easter decor anywhere you’d like!

Easter Dining Room Decorating Ideas

Our dining room is the first room that you see when you enter our home, so I probably spend a little more time decorating it than I would otherwise. I’ve collected quite a few white bunnies over the years, and most of them reside here during the spring {although they have definitely started migrating into other rooms in the house as well!}.

I actually haven’t really bought any spring or Easter decor over the last couple of years, but love to switch up items that I already have. There are lots of different ways that you can display your seasonal decor pieces and it’s kind of fun coming up with new ways to use them. Here are 5 Easter dining room decorating ideas using items that we already had…

Easter Sideboard

Our sideboard is one of the first areas that I decorate. This year, I turned it into a fun Easter chocolate and candy bar. There’s even some faux chocolate in there, so I know it won’t all completely disappear!

You can find all of the details of the candy bar as well as the free Chocolates and Confectioneries Easter printable in THIS POST. Although I used our sideboard, you could do your own mini-version in a kitchen corner, on a tray, or any other little table that you have in your home. Just stock it with your favorite treats and the little printable.

Easter Centerpiece

I love shopping our home and finding items that work well together for a centerpiece. Look for basic pieces that can be used throughout the different seasons and then just change up the details seasonally. Pretty bowls, terrariums and other glass containers, or trays all work well for this.

I shared this DIY Easter centerpiece a couple of days ago and it was so quick and easy to put together. You could always add some fresh flowers, real greenery, or any other seasonal decor pieces that you love too. Putting it all on a tray ties it together and makes it easy to move on and off the table when needed. Again, if you don’t need a table centerpiece, this same ideas would be cute on a large shelf or side table display in your living room.

Easter Beverage Bar

Even if you’re not yet having guests in your home, you can still set up a simple seasonal beverage bar for your own family. It can be for your coffee/tea, a hot chocolate bar, or even just a flavored water bar.

I always use this little corner in our dining room for some kind of beverage bar with this tray stand and mug ladder. I found the bunny mugs at HomeSense a couple of years ago which inspired the Hippity Hop for the printable.

The bunny pitcher works well for some flavored lemon water and can also double as a flower pitcher if anyone wants to bring me some fresh flowers.
