Joanna Gaines is keeping busy. The former “Fixer Upper” host’s launch for Magnolia Network might be pushed back , but there’s no shortage of exciting news coming out of Waco these days. Jo apparently has a cooking show in the works for the network, and her second cookbook published in April. On Monday, a new color was added to the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines Paint collection, and it’s a good one.

Called 1905 Green , the hue is a slightly jeweled forest green that Gaines created for Magnolia Press , which opened in Waco at the end of 2019. The color covers the shop’s exterior, as well as the wood paneling that runs along the lower half of the interior walls.

“While working on the design concept for our coffee shop, I was flipping through paint swatches and found myself drawn toward two different colors—a deep blue, and a jewel-tone green,” says Joanna. “The idea of combining them to create a custom color is how 1905 Green came to be. I love the way this moody, dark green comes to life on the walls, balancing depth and sophistication with familiarity and comfort.”

This is the first new paint color that’s been added since the collection launched in 2016 . Gaines created the line with KILZ since how to choose paint colors is one of the questions she gets asked most frequently. When picking the colors for the collection, she focused on timeless, nature-inspired hues, something that you’ll “still love in five years,” she told Apartment Therapy at the time.

1905 Green , along with the 25 other Magnolia Home hues, is available starting at $8 for a sample size and $42 for a gallon in eggshell, matte, and satin finishes for interior paint, and $47 for exterior paint.
