Los Angeles has a new megawatt cultural center in its not-so-distant future: the Diller Scofidio + Renfro–designed Broad art museum. The institution, established by art collectors Eli and Edythe Broad, is set to open this September on Grand Avenue in downtown L.A. Photographer Ty Cole took to the streets to see how the museum is taking shape.
