When the sun sets at Longwood Gardens on July 1, a new, immersive experience will begin. The “Nightscape” exhibition, launching that night and running through October, features nine kaleidoscopic light­-and­-sound installations that will transform the Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, public garden into a mesmerizing botanical wonderland.

Created by by Klip Collective, a visual art and lighting firm based in Philadelphia, the lightscapes in this presentation include several thousand points of light scattered among the one of the garden’s flowerbeds like fireflies, and bright turquoise and purple rays that give Longwood’s Silver Garden the appearance of a psychedelic discotheque.
